ABOUT US:

We are Kelsey and Adam, a married couple who share a strong desire to become parents.

Kelsey is gentle, steady, and devoted to the people she loves. She notices the small things—when someone needs encouragement, comfort, or simply to feel understood. She believes that children thrive when they feel safe and cherished, and she brings that belief into every part of her life.

As a teacher, Kelsey works with children of diverse abilities and has learned the values of patience, flexibility, and perseverance. She understands that growth happens in small steps and that every child deserves to feel capable and valued. As a parent, Kelsey will offer a nurturing, dependable heart—one that listens, protects, and celebrates her child.

Adam is open-hearted and compassionate. He brings laughter and joy into everyday moments. Adam feels deeply and cares fiercely, especially for those he holds close. Adam’s life experiences have shaped his commitment to creating a home filled with kindness, patience, and emotional safety. He understands the power of gentle words, consistency, and unconditional support.

As a teacher and uncle, Adam has seen how confidence grows when children feel truly accepted. As a parent, he will be a steady, loving guide—one who shows up fully, listens with his whole heart, and offers a safe place for his child to be themselves, always.

Building a family has always been a dream of ours. We are very excited to grow our family through adoption.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY:

Family is the center of our lives. We are fortunate to be surrounded by parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends who are actively involved and eager to support us as parents. Our families gather often, celebrate milestones together, and show up for one another in meaningful ways. A child joining our family would be welcomed not only by us, but by a loving circle of people who are excited to watch them grow and to support them every step of the way. We are lucky that our parents and siblings live close by.

Our home is filled with warmth and laughter. It is a place where routines create security, where conversations matter, and where love is shown through everyday moments—shared meals, walks outside, and time spent simply being together. We value creating a home where a child feels safe to be themselves, free to ask questions, express emotions, and grow at their own pace, always knowing they are deeply loved and wanted. We look forward to building meaningful family traditions that a child can carry with them throughout their life.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our home is located in a family-oriented community with access to nature, parks, schools, and supportive services. There are grocery stores, recreation centres, a library, a few restaurants and hiking trails within walking distance. We value spending time outdoors, being active, and we are excited to take advantage of all that our community has to offer young families - mountains, beaches, playgrounds, etc.

OPENNESS:

If we are chosen to be adoptive parents, we are committed to honoring your child’s story with honesty, openness, and respect. We believe children deserve to know where they come from and to feel proud of all parts of their identity. We are committed to educating ourselves so that we can honour their cultural identity.

We are open to establishing and maintaining a relationship with you in whatever way feels healthy and appropriate.
